L3Harris has an immediate opening for a versatile Scientist, System/Hardware engineer to support the design and manufacturing of Tracking, Telemetry, and Command products for space-based applications and Intel products. As a system/hardware engineer within the Chief Engineering organization, you will be supporting various engineering teams in the design, integration, and test of advanced satellite & intel communication links including TT&C and Payload products with digital telemetry, and signal processing technology. As part of our team, you will be responsible for leading product execution and planning functions, Internal Research, & Design (IR&D) development, and integration and test of Satellite and Intel systems. This role requires the application of the principles and techniques of Electrical Engineering, with detailed simulation and mathematical analysis. You will work with engineering teams to analyze product issues (leading troubleshooting efforts), determine feasibility of designs within time and cost constraints. Work with the team to develop and direct hardware and digital system testing procedures, RCCA and customer ready documentation. Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of engineering applications and products. Interface with customers, suppliers, and other technical and support personnel. Coordinating and leading engineering team in support for proposals, including technical solution, estimates, and schedules. Essential Functions:

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $147,000 - $273,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
