The primary responsibility of the scorekeeper is to accurately record scores for sporting events for the Athletic programs. Scorekeepers are responsible for tracking individual/team statistics throughout a game, updating scores on the scoreboard, and starting and stopping the clock according to the rules of the game. Scorekeepers maintain the official game roster of eligible players and substitutes and tells the substitute when he/she can enter the game; Assists with the operation Leagues and Tournaments and know how to keep score. Must know the rules and game times; must be at facility at least 10 minutes before the beginning game; make certain that the area/field is clean before the first game and after the last game.
Age: 16+.
Salary: Pay Grade 10; $13.50/hour;
Work Hours: 10 to 12 hours/week primarily evenings and occasional weekends.
