What You'll Do:
As our Scale Operator, you'll be the friendly face of our operation, guiding customers through the process of weighing their scrap metal shipments. You'll handle loads with our cutting-edge automated system, keep the yard informed, and ensure everything is processed smoothly. From managing inspection tickets and maintaining our radiation detection system to processing payments and staying updated on industry trends, your role will be both varied and vital.

Your Responsibilities:
* Operating our automated system to weigh incoming and outgoing loads.
* Collaborating with yard personnel to ensure smooth operations.
* Managing inspection tickets and maintaining accurate inventory control.
* Retrieving and analyzing data from our information systems.

* Handling over-the-scale payments and answering phone calls.

What We're Looking For:
* Basic computer skills and an interest in scrap metal commodities.

Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED-equivalent.
* At least one year of customer service experience.
