What You'll DoWork with prepared foods team members to produce and bake the Co-op's famous hearth breads & baked goods in our commercial bakery & kitchenPrepare foods using commercial bakery/kitchen equipment including large batch mixers, stoves, ovens, and proofersConsistently project a friendly, open, and service oriented demeanor to customers and team membersLift and carry 15 – 50 pounds of product on a regular basisWhat We're Looking ForAt least 6 months of food service experience, institutional or commercial bakery preferredAbility to work with both hands in a fast-paced, creative environment in an ecient and controlled manner.Food and sanitation trained and certified (ServSafe or similar)Familiarity with organic and natural foodsAbility to read and speak English and perform basic math problems associated with recipesAbility to accurately and consistently follow recipesAdditional DetailsThis position requires attention to detail and the ability to stand and work long periods at a time.Excellent tenure and attendance is expected, with a committed schedule that may include opening, mid-shift, and closing, and requires weekend, and holiday shifts on a regular basis.Pay based on experience and skills test. 90 day learning period with pay increases at 1,040 and 2,080 hours worked.This is a full-time position with a benefits package.Negotiable based on experience and skill levelHow to Apply:Interested applicants can apply through our online application ( by submitting an Indeed Resume, or by connecting to LinkedIn.
