This position will be responsible for printing screens, mixing correct ink colors, loading screens into the printer, producing the final printed products, and cleaning the machines.To ensure success as a screen printer, you should exhibit artistic skills, be able to stand for long hours, be comfortable with manual labor, and have excellent hand-eye coordination.Responsibilities:Receiving jobs for Screen PrintingExamining orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantitiesSelecting screen size, degreasing agents and emulsion coatingsLoading screen into printerInstalling and repositioning screen printing plates and pressure rolesCalibrating printer before batch is printedRunning prints and performing quality checks throughout the printing processDifferentiate and correct color variances to maintain quality standardsTroubleshooting problems as they ariseDrying, stickering, and packing completed products after the runRequirementsPrevious work experience as a screen printerDetail oriented and have excellent, quality driven work habitsExcellent hand-eye coordinationBasic computer knowledgeSchedule flexibilityAble to stand for long periodsAble to work with ink and chemicals every dayAble to manually operate large machineryAble to lift up to 50lbs#J-18808-Ljbffr
