Job Summary Third Federal is seeking an individual with strong analytical, organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills for the position of a Scrum Master in the Custom Application Development Department. The Scrum Master role will facilitate the implementation and adoption of agile methodologies that allow project teams to make changes quickly to allow for continuous improvement.The role acts as a liaison between the business and technical teams ensuring projects are well organized, using the proper tools and effectively communicating between teams.Works to remove barriers, drive decision making and keep project teams focused, within scope and on track.Will be required to identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering team's progress.This role will effectively communicate project status, scope, risks and issues to project stakeholders. Essential Job Functions:
- Contributes to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organization
- Facilitates and supports sprint planning, Daily Stand Up meetings, sprint review and sprint retrospectives
- Work with business users to define system and application requirements
- Formulate test plans, train and assist with testing for new applications and upgrades
- Maintain and update documentation
- Create Data reports
- Ability to work on several concurrent initiatives and formulate project definitions while considering business processes and/or system capabilities to solve complex issues
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience serving in a Scrum Master role
- Certified Scrum Master Certification or other relevant certifications
- Comprehensive understanding of agile methodologies and principles
- Experience using Azure DevOps
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, while contributing to a team goal
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Recognize opportunities and propose solutions to improve system processes
- Ability to lead meetings
