Savantage Solutions is seeking a combined Scrum Master and Delivery Manager to join our technical team. This position will serve as a Scrum Master over a 6-member development team supporting O&M and enhancement support of government IT systems. The team will apply Agile as it pursues achieving a mature CI/CD-friendly development process. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drives and monitors Agile methodologies and processes to ensure quality delivery and continuous improvement.
- Plans and facilitates scrum activities and ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand ups, demos, board reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintains Government ALM tool (e.g. JIRA) and other information radiators for the teams.
- Collaborates with clients or end users to understand business requirements and priorities.
- Acts as a liaison between development teams and product management, ensuring that appropriate project process is made.
- Manages the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work.
- Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:The candidate must have:
- Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
- Knowledge of one or more Agile frameworks, such as Scrum or SAFe, and an understanding of software development life cycle models.
- Eligibility for Secret Clearance
- 8+ years of related work experience
Education and Certifications:
- BA/BS degree
- One Foundational certification, such as:
- Federal IT Security Professional-Designer-NG (FITSP-D)
- GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)
- GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF)
- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- One IGC CEC Residential certification such as:
- Professional Scrum Master I
Compensation $99,000k - $141,000k (based on the National Capital Region) The pay range for this job level at Savantage Solutions serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
