Our rapid growth has created additional career opportunities within the organization.We are looking for energetic, flexible, and service oriented individuals for the following position. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in our Value Stream model, in which dedicated teams deliver technology value to a defined set of customers within a specific business area on a continuous basis. While supporting Agile teams is the primary focus of the role, the Scrum Master may also occasionally coordinate waterfall projects, requiring adaptability and broad project management knowledge. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, coaching, and facilitation skills. They will be adept at guiding the team's continuous improvement, fostering self-organization, and promoting Agile values and practices. The Scrum Master will facilitate Scrum events, help remove impediments, track team metrics, and manage cross-stream dependencies. With a build, measure, learn mindset, the Scrum Master will support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and executive reporting, aligning the team's work with both strategic goals and near-term wins. This role is crucial in helping Delta Community become more responsive to market trends, leverage customer feedback effectively, and accelerate progress toward strategic objectives. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Essential Functions: •Agile Leadership and Team Facilitation - Support the assigned Value Stream team in delivering consistent stakeholder value using the Scrum framework - Facilitate all Scrum activities, fostering a culture of self-organization and continuous improvement - Ensure planned work is consumable by the team and track completion of work - Actively uncover and remove impediments to team success - Promote and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, resulting in higher quality outputs and more consistent velocity •Cross-Functional Collaboration and Alignment - Collaborate with the Value Stream Owner and other peer Scrum Masters who report to the Value Delivery Office to foster enterprise alignment with Delta Community's Value Stream model - Assist in identifying user stories within the backlog that have dependencies on other Value Streams and help to coordinate a mutually acceptable timeframe for the other Value Stream to complete the required development work - Support the Value Stream Owner in backlog management and preparation of executive reports •Process Improvement and Quality Assurance - Establish and maintain processes that enable high-quality, repeatable releases - Facilitate work estimations and release planning - Adapt Agile practices to fit Delta Community's evolving needs - Participate in and contribute to a Scrum Master community of practice •Performance Tracking and Reporting - Complete regular status updates on sprint performance and prepare reporting on Value Stream work and priorities for broad dissemination to other stakeholders and senior management - Track and analyze team performance data, articulating key findings to various audiences - Use insights from performance data to drive improvements •Project Management Versatility - When necessary, coordinate or run traditional projects using established project management methodologies - Ensure seamless integration of traditional project management with Agile workflows •Continuous Learning and Compliance - Stay current with Agile best practices and credit union industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance team performance - Ensure compliance with all Credit Union policies and procedures, including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations •Adaptability and Change Management - Adapt to changing priorities and navigate through ambiguity with a positive and proactive attitude - Help the team and organization grow with the new Value Stream model •Compliance - Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations. •Safety - Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures •Other - This description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned - This job description is subject to change at any time Position may offer work from home opportunities, pending specific performance and departmental needs. Job Qualifications Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
