What We Need You to Do . .
- Start each shift with an enthusiastic “Think Big” vibe that motivates the entire team
- Expect all associates to achieve their KPI goals, and provide coaching if performance slips
- Drive sales by actively engaging with customers and participating in hand-selling contests
- Keep the store clean and tidy at all times
- Assist in receiving and replenishing inventory on the sales floor—we always want to look our best
- Have the availability to work nights, including some weekends, and holidays
What Skills We Are Looking for . .
- Someone with a knowledge of Seagull Book products and Sweet Salt Modest Clothing
- Someone with strong visual merchandising skills—especially in clothing and home decor
- Someone with great interpersonal skills, who works well in a collaborative team environment
- Someone with an ability to regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers
- Someone who feels comfortable engaging with customers in a genuine way
- Someone who can stand for long periods of time
- Someone who can bend, reach, and stretch, as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
- Someone with a minimum of one year retail supervisory experience
