: Job Details :

We are looking for a Seamstress to join our team in Canal Winchester, OH. This position would be working primarily with bridal dresses and some additional types of apparel.

Job Responsibilities

Sewing Skills Needed:

• Zipper repair/replacement (both invisible and regular)
• Hand sewing (tacking, lace and trim repairs, snaps, buttons, hook & eyes)
• Some beadwork and rhinestone/gem replacement/repair
• Potential veil repair work (replacing broken combs, lace applique repair, beading)
• Knowledge of fabric types, care, and necessary spot cleaning methods

General Skills Needed:

• Quality inspection: Eye for detail/ability to audit items quickly
• Inventory control
• Basic general labor
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented, organized, and quick
• Able to push/pull/lift 30 pounds
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment
• Willing to perform other work as directed
• Comfortable working with computers and using a warehouse management system
• Ability to sew on industrial sewing machines
• Proficient with straight stitch, serger, and cover stitch machines
• Experience in alterations and a strong understanding of garment construction
• Experience/comfortable performing sewing and alterations in a production environment
• Ability to machine and hand sew quickly

Associate Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• Background Check
• Able to Lift 30 pounds
• Drug Test
• Stand for Shift Duration
• Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $24.00 - $24.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
