An individual could be successful if they possess the following:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.Provides impeccable guest service to all guests.Maintains the barn area in optimal conditions.Operates tractors, water trucks, spreaders, and other equipment to maintain/groom the barn area.Responsible for reading, observing, enforcing, and understanding all safety rules for safe operation for each piece of equipment.Maintains tractors, water trucks, and equipment.Uses sound judgement when using equipment around the horses.Performs preventative maintenance such as changing oil, replacing belts, etc. Performs minor corrective maintenance on equipment, such as trucks, tractors, barn equipment, etc. to repair equipment.Uses various hand tools.Maintains the professional appearance of the barn area and ensures adherence to the preventative maintenance program.Ensures timely response to all reports of safety hazards and proper communication.Upholds standards and practices that support the comprehensive safety and integrity of horseracing.Performs all duties and responsibilities in a professional, friendly, courteous, and helpful manner, maintaining extreme confidentiality with all information.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
