**Hi, were Nuts.com!**Were changing the landscape of snacking on nuts, dried fruit, chocolate and more! We planted our roots in Newark, New Jersey during the Great Depression, selling premium nuts on Mulberry Streets open-air market. Weve come quite a long way since then, taking our multigenerational family business online in 1999. Even after 90 years, we continue to pride ourselves in expertly sourcing the highest quality foods and treating our customers like family.

**The role**Our talented team is looking for a free-thinking, relationship-building, quick-witted, detail-oriented, and high-energy multi-tasker to help take the Customer Experience Team to the next level of greatness. Were drawn to dynamic problem solvers who are eager to learn about our 4,000+ products.

Those who excel in the Customer Experience Team will be people persons with deep emotional intelligence, empathy and interest in joining a values-led organization.

***This role is remote for the time being so secure wifi is required. Eventually, this role will be in Jersey City, NJ.**

**What you'll do**

* Connect with and delight our customers through multiple channels including, email, live chat, and phone

* Handle customer issues and develop creative solutions to any problems that may arise

* Promote the Nuts.com brand while constantly looking for ways to improve the customer experience

* Become an expert on the extensive and constantly evolving Nuts.com product line

* Master new technologies and systems while striving to improve internal processes

* Work actively to increase customer retention and sales while achieving operational metrics

* Complete additional tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned

**What you'll bring**

* 6 months+ of customer service experience with a passion for solving problems in a fast-paced environment

* Excellent writing skills with great attention to detail; we will require a writing sample!

* Secure wifi, as this position is remote

* A strong work ethic with a positive approach and great energy

* Ability to make even the most persnickety person smile and laugh

* Empathy and mastery of effective listening

* College degree (Liberal Arts majors encouraged!) preferred and experience working in a fast-paced environment will get you bonus points

* Ability to juggle multiple tasks without becoming visibly overwhelmed or flustered

* Availability in the evenings and weekends

* Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus!
