Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with Logistics Representative at the Trumann seed plant including seed treater operations, warehouse operations, and any other duty assigned on site.
- Shipping and delivering seed to service partners and customers.
- Delivering replants to the appropriate customers.
- Collecting returns and delivering our products back to the warehouses.
- Work closely with Logistics Representative to maintain a schedule so that shipments will arrive in a timely manner.
- Work closely with Logistics Representative to obtain seed samples.
- Work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure that when business issues arise that they will be handled to the customer's utmost satisfaction.
- Must always provide a safe environment for coworkers and any other persons in the area.
- Helping prep/clean/manicure AR Farm for field day as well as other duties assigned during field day.
- When not shipping seed, fill in gaps when needed during planting, crop maintenance, and harvest with Tec Service/Development/Research.
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
- During the peak time of the season the employee must be willing to work long hours and sometimes weekends to complete their tasks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEThe successful candidate should:
Have or be working toward a bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field.Or
Have two years' work experience and significant contributions in a seed company, warehouse, or related field.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The successful candidate should be able to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents and to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office products and be able to implement the skills.
Must have the ability to read a map and be able to navigate and develop a driving route.
- Certificates and Licenses:
