About This Role:

ShopThing is seeking a seasonal fulfillment associate to join our dynamic team! In this role you will be responsible for picking and packing orders, quality control of in-coming and out-going merchandise in an efficient and timely manner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop their skills in a growing start-up environment!

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Receive and incoming products and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment
• Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects, and notify team lead of findings
• Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased item
• Flatten Boxes and dispose in recycle bin
• Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, and workstations neat; aligning with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Replenish packaging materials at work stations
• Commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
• Comfortable with standing, bending and moving small loads of 10-20 lbs

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent work experience
• Experience working in stock with clothing and/or appeal is considered an asset
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 20 lbs
• Ability to work full-time, 35-40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with flexibility to take on weekend hours during peak times (if required)
• Attention to detail and good time management skills

Pay: $17 per hour

Work Location: Ridgefield, New Jersey
