Job Type Full-time, Part-timeDescriptionPosition Responsibilities This description includes, but is not necessarily limited to the duties and responsibilities noted below:• Changing of cups including putting and chipping greens• Course set-up - properrotation of tee markers• Insure proper placement of all signage• Rotation of posts, rope, and signs for cart traffic control• Inspection of divot mix buckets and trash cans to insure proper levels• Placement of water coolers and cups • Removal of any loose trash or debris on golf course• Removal of any loose trash or debris in and around parking lot and clubhouse• Walk-behind and tri-plex mowing of greens• Rolling greens• Walk-behind mowing of collars and approaches• Tri-plex mowing of tees• Five-plex mowing of fairways• Disposal of clippings in proper manner• Reel and rotary mowing of rough• Small rotary and trimming work• Filling of divots on tees and fairways• Machine and hand raking of all sand traps• Edging of all sand traps• Wash-out repair of all sand traps• Topdressing of greens and tees• Fertilizer and soil amendment applications• Chemical applications (certification training provided by certified applicator)• All golf course renovation procedures including aerification, overseeding, sodding, etc.• Landscape and ornamental maintenance• Hand-watering of greens, tees, and fairways• Moving of roller-base sprinklers in non-irrigated rough areas• Irrigation maintenance and repair• Leaf and branch removal• Snow removal of parking lots and walkways• Special project work- irrigation expansion, drainage, tree removal, etc. Reports to Golf Course Superintendent, Assistant Golf Course SuperintendentRequirementsWorking Conditions Works indoors and outdoors. Potential exposure to inclement weather, potentially dangerous chemicals, solvents, pesticides, and fertilizers, exposed to sharp and rapid equipment movements on a daily basis. Injury may occur as a result of exposure to the above if safety procedures are not properly followed at all times. Physical Requirements • Must have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.• Must have the ability to inspect equipment and related components.• Must have the ability to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for five hours at a time without sitting.• Must have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
