Role Summary: Day Crew staff are assigned to handle various maintenance trades including but not limited to; paintings, trash clean-up, lifting/pushing of equipment and material, cleaning, pressure washing, use of hand tools, etc. They report to the Operations Management Team. They communicate with operations management regarding safety issues.
Duties:- Willingness to accept the most effective role.
- Maintaining high standards of safety.
- Maintaining skills at a high level at all times.
- Cleaning, sweeping, cleaning tubes, lifting tables and moving heavy objects.
- Fixing and making small basic repairs to various objects throughout the park.
Qualifications:•Must be at least 16 years old•Ability to follow instructions•Required to maintain established performance levels•Ability to work independently and in a group setting•Ability to work various shifts/days•Ability to work weekends and holiday periods
Physical and General Requirements:- Walking to and from your entire assigned area, climbing ladders and stairs when necessary
- Meet attendance requirements as outlines in Beach Parks attendance policy
- Meet scheduling availability requirements including weekends and holidays to meet business needs
- Standing with or without movement for extended periods of time
- Participate in safety meetings and use safety equipment provided
- Unload materials and equipment for tasks when received
- Pick-up and transport trash to designated area
- Exposure to sun and heat for extended periods of time
- Bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting heavy objects
- Must be able to push up to 50lbs and lift up to 20lbs
- Must frequently use hands/fingers to handle tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and perform all duties in compliance with Beach Park safety guidelines and requirements and report all unsafe or unusual conditions to a supervisor
