Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; relevant experience preferred. Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom. Familiarity with Canvas Learning Management System preferred. Good oral and written communication required. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
Duties
The Chesterfield Extension Master Gardener Class is conducted in a hybrid format utilizing Canvas as its platform. The Canvas System Administrator would build and run all operations of Canvas. They will communicate frequently with the Class Manager, staff, and trainees. Trains class manager and other class supporting roles on how to use Canvas. Builds Canvas Course utilizing previous course shells. Uploads instructor material, class information, virtual links, evaluation links, quizzes, etc. Trains and communicates with trainees on how to use canvas. Troubleshoots with trainees on canvas use. Manages timely release of class materials. Perform other work as required.
Shift
November - April; 200 hours total. Schedule varies, not to exceed 20 hours per week.
