At District Photo, our employees are the heart of our company. We are seeking a seasonal Quality Control Technicianin our Beltsville Maryland factory

Job Overview

• Ensure quality of the services, procedures, processes, and products provided by District Photo
• Audit all stages and components of a production line
• Verify that each process within a line is following Standard Operating Procedure, materials
• handling, and producing the best quality possible
• Verify line component and final product is being produced within acceptable parameters and guidelines.
• Verify raw materials are to specifications and ready to be used in order assembly
• Complete all tasks in a timely, organized, and professional manner
• Report, relay data and explain findings to Quality Supervisor, Production Supervisors, Shift
• Managers, and Production Managers.
• Able to be a self-starter, work independently, and meet strict deadlines

Requirements:

• Computer competency using Windows based programs, IPADS, and various software's and apps.
• In particular Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Some knowledge of Photoshop, Acrobat, and other Adobe programs helpful but not required.
• The ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals.
• Good basic math skills.
• Must have a good eye for color and be able to pass a color blindness test.
• Must be Quality oriented and possess an understanding of quality standards
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work effectively under strict deadlines
• Able to lift up 40lbs
• Able to work for several hours at a time standing
