Merchology seeks a Seasonal Receiving Associate for ourOperations team. Reporting to the Inventory Supervisor, the Receiving Associate is a critical role that will work within a team to receive new product shipments for decoration for our clients. This position is a great opportunity to join Merchology during our busiest time of the year from September to December/January. Shift: 2nd shift:
- 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm Monday through Thursday, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday
- Some overtime/weekends as needed
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESA successful Receiving Associate will:
- Check in daily shipments of product and audit shipments to ensure purchase orders are properly filled
- Label and transport packages and inventory in predetermined warehouse locations
- Work with team members in a positive and collaborative environment
- Ensure that safety guidelines are followed
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
- Basic computer skills
- Positive and collaborative attitude
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to interpret work orders and shipping materials in English
- Spanish bilingual a plus
