CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Ag Retail group. We are looking for a Seasonal Scale Technician in our grain facility from September thru November. Days, nights and weekends available. The Scale Assistant is responsible for being in direct contact with customers and handling documents of incoming and outgoing products. You must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, be detail oriented, and have a continuous improvement mindset.

• Weigh and grade grain in all inbound and outbound trucks using computer and manual tools for measurement.
• Provide a high level of customer service by addressing customers in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
• Answer telephone promptly and direct calls as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Assist other personnel as needed.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

• Knowledge of Operations and/or Business Operations

• High School diploma or GED preferred
