We are seeking a motivated and reliable Seasonal Storage Associate to join our team at Alsum Farms & Produce during the busy harvest and storage season. As a floater, you will assist with various tasks related to the storage of potatoes, ensuring efficient and safe operations across all storage areas. This role requires flexibility, as you will be assigned to different duties based on the needs of the day.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading and unloading potatoes into storage facilities.
- Operate and maintain equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and other farm machinery.
- Monitor potato storage conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) and report any issues.
- Perform quality checks on potatoes, sorting and discarding damaged products as needed.
- Clean and maintain storage areas to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Help with general farm duties as needed, including assisting other teams during peak times.
- Follow all farm safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
