The Town of Truckee is currently accepting applications for Seasonal Street Maintenance Worker II Winter Snow Removal Positions. Pay is $30.27 / HR - $40.87 / HR. Candidate must be responsible and able to work in a skilled and independent manner without close supervision. Must be able to communicate well with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
Duties include routine and skilled heavy physical labor in the maintenance and snow removal of Town streets and right of way. Must possess two (2) years experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment used in the performance of street maintenance and snow removal. Knowledge of Town road system a plus. Applicants with Class A or B driver's license is preferred, however, applicants without a CDL that possess experience operating heavy equipment including: Frontend Loaders, Motor Graders, and Split pack Snow Blowers will be considered. Successful candidates with a CDL will be enrolled in the Town's random drug and alcohol testing program.
