Seasonal Temporary Snow Removal Equipment OperatorCasella Construction, Inc.Lebanon, NH 03766Casella Construction is seeking to hire a Seasonal & Temporary Snow Removal Equipment Operator to join our Construction Team in the Greater Lebanon, NH area. The Snow Removal Equipment Operator is responsible for removing snow from roadways and parking lots throughout the winter season.The ideal candidate for this role is a self-motivated, hands-on, and attentive Snow Removal Equipment Operator who wants to contribute to a team by executing challenging projects to the highest standards, displaying an unwavering commitment to professionalism, integrity, and safety.Responsibilities:Maintains a safe work environmentSafely operates construction and snow removal equipment including loaders, plow trucks, and other related snow equipment to complete job tasksConducts daily pre and post equipment inspectionsMonitors gauges and other indicators to ensure safe operation of equipmentMaintains records of time worked and materials usedCompletes daily paperworkSafely operates plow truck as neededPerforms other related duties as assignedQualifications:Must be 18 years or olderHigh School or GED preferredValid Driver's License3-5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator (Loader)Certified Salt Applicator preferredUnderstanding of safety rules and regulationsMust be able to work some weekends and/or nights, when neededAbility to participate in regulatory trainings (First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10, Flagging, Spotter)Must have, or be able to obtain a DOT medical cardPhysical Requirements:Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areasMust be able to stand, walk, and climb inclines for the duration of the shiftMust be able to lift and carry up to 80 poundsMust be able to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAttributes:Ability to listen, understand, and follow directionsAbility to remain flexible as assignments changeAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and supervisorsGood communication skills both verbal and writtenPossess a positive attitude and desire to learnSound knowledge of construction and practical experience with tools and equipmentOrganized with a systematic approach to achieve accuracy and efficiencyGreat hand, eye, and foot coordinationExhibit attention to detailFamiliar with safety protocolsProficiency in math and readingAbout our Company:Casella Construction has evolved to become an industry-leading company in the field, carrying on a legacy built on hard work, grit, determination, and innovation.
