Warehouse Associate (Seasonal) Job Description: RUDIS, the leading Apparel company in Wrestling is looking for a Seasonal Warehouse Associate to assist at the distribution center to ensure exceptional, accurate, on-time order fulfillment and receipt of product to the consumer. This job is to be performed on-site at the distribution center, currently located in Richwood, Ohio. Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications
- Ensure that all orders are correctly filled and timely dispatched
- Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments
- Ensure proper storage of products in designated locations and maintain accurate inventory records
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards and report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Ensure equipment is maintained and used following safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and practices to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, verifying contents against shipping documents, and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- Work effectively with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors. Assist with training new team members as needed.
- Arrive on time to perform daily duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a warehouse associate or similar position preferred.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects safely (up to 50 pounds) and maneuver heavier items with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach during shifts.
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Experience operating a forklift is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- Must be able to work a consistent schedule. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm preferred.
- There will likely be opportunities for optional weekend and overtime hours.
- This position is a temporary, seasonal position and will conclude on December 20, 2024.
