A better future?We're Lear For You.As a member of the production team, the Seat assembler will be responsible for assembling and/or fitting parts together to form complete units or subassemblies at a bench or conveyor line. May include operations requiring the use of simple hand tools and/or power or special assembly tools.The Role:Your work will include, but not be limited to:* The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds* Repetitive gripping and use of hands* Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team* Use hand and power tools to assemble seat components according to specifications and instructions* Identify and report any problems related to the product, process, and quality system* Assure Safety and Quality standards are followed at all times* Maintain a clean and organized work area by adhering to Lear's 5S and World Class Housekeeping standards* Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals, performance goals, and objectivesAdvantages of working for Lear at the Duncan Plant:* Affordable Health, Vision, and Dental plans* Life and AD&D Insurance* Paid vacation days, and holidays* Tuition Reimbursement* Shift premiums for 3rd shiftYour Qualifications:* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required* Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements of drug screen, physical, and background check.* One year of related experience preferred* Must be 18 years of age or olderBonus If You Have:* One year of related experienceLocation Code:Nearest Major Market: SpartanburgNearest Secondary Market: South Carolina
