SEC Financial Reporting Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced SEC Financial Reporting Manager on a hybrid basis in Newark, DE. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in public accounting, hands-on experience preparing SEC filings, and possess a deep understanding of technical accounting. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) SEC filings, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and reporting standards.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and transactions, including research and documentation of technical accounting matters.
• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals
• Ensure adherence to internal controls over financial reporting and participate in SOX compliance efforts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including treasury, legal, compliance, and senior leadership, to support financial reporting activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. A CPA or MBA is essential.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience
• Foundation in public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm preferred)
• Hands-on SEC reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, SOX, and technical accounting principles. Experience with financial reporting software is a plus.

Compensation:

$140,000-$150,000
