Oak Hill Country Club is a 36-hole facility located in Rochester NY. Both championship courses are designed by storied architect, Donald Ross. The East Course is consistently ranked as a top 25 course in the country and known as one of the greatest venues for championship golf. With the success of the 2023 PGA Championship, Oak Hill has been selected to host the 2027 U.S. Amateur on both courses.A 2nd Assistant at Oak Hill will have the unique opportunity to hone their skills on USGA bentgrass greens and pushup bent/poa greens (West Course). The right individual will be immersed in all aspects of golf course management, with a focus on handwatering/water management for playability and plant health, pesticide/fertilizer applications, and proper calibration and crew management while building the necessary skill set to take the next step in their career. At Oak Hill, there is a strong emphasis on promoting from within and placing assistants into superintendent roles. Upcoming projects include the completion of a new short game area (currently under construction), West Course Master Plan as directed by Andrew Green, 36-hole irrigation installation, and numerous in-house projects. The successful candidate will have a hand in all projects.Minimum Requirements:1-2 years golf course maintenance experience.Experience with hand watering, chemical and fertilizer applications, and calibration.Possess a positive attitude, passion for the turf industry, a strong desire to learn, and a desire to be a team player.#J-18808-Ljbffr
