Responsibilities Execute up to 10 setups/day, identify tools required and run jobs with minimal supervisionUnderstand purpose and functionality of component being machinedOperate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machiningUse basic inspection equipment as neededFollow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance Other duties as assignedSkillsEditing speeds and feedsTroubleshootingProblem-solving CNC CalculatingTime ManagementBasic blueprint and GD&T readingMechanicalOrganizationExperience Minimum of 3 years' experience5 axis and or 3 axisContour and manual machiningCutting and holding techniquesMachining steel, stainless steel, invar, aluminum, and composite materialsMaterial properties (Match equipment and techniques to various materials)RequirementsLift up to 50 lbs.; heavier load sizes with assistanceHave own standard toolsOn feet for extended periods of timeEducation High School Diploma or equivalentDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
