We're looking for a dedicated Second Shift Production Supervisor to oversee our 2nd shift operations and drive performance improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency. What You'll Do:
* Lead and mentor your team to meet safety, quality, cost, and efficiency production goals.
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and regulatory standards (GMP, SQF, HACCP).
* Coach and train team members to develop their skills and ensure safe practices on the floor.
* Troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, maintaining a high standard of excellence in product output.
* Maintain production and time records, keeping costs in check and reducing waste.
* Foster a positive, collaborative work environment to encourage team performance and growth.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required; food manufacturing experience is preferred.
* Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to manage priorities, and demonstrated leadership in fast-paced environments.
* Knowledge: Working knowledge of food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs, SQF, and HACCP preferred.
* Bonus Points: Being bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus, but it is not required.
Physical Demands:
This role requires regular standing and walking and using hands to handle objects and controls. You'll also need the ability to lift, push, or pull materials frequently. Our facility includes cold, hot, and damp areas with varying conditions, such as cooking, refrigeration, and freezer environments.
