Job DescriptionGpac is working with a client company in Western Ohio who is seeking a Second Shift Quality Assurance Supervisor. This meat processing facility has been in business for almost 75 years, and they have steadily grown since! They have just under 250 employees, and their employee turnover is low because they invest in and take care of their employees!   • Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Microbiology, Food science or related
  • 1-3 years QA experience in a leadership capacity
  • HACCP certified
  • Working knowledge of plant sanitation practices and regulatory requirements for meat products
  • SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOP and Food defense training
  • Food manufacturing experience
  • Background in inspection and auditing activities
Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining customer complaints and product complaints
  • Verifying and filing daily HACCP and QA documents
  • Conduct third-party audits
  • Liaison with USDA inspectors
  • Write SOPs as needed
  • Monitor all Pathogen testing and Pest Control program
  • Follow all food safety, quality and SQF rules
