Job Description:

A large government and commercial services contractor are looking for a Airfield Manager to join our team. The Airfield Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall management of airfield facilities and services, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for aircraft operations. They supervise personnel, perform airfield inspections, develop parking plans, and coordinate airfield activities including construction/repairs and safety procedures. They also manage information related to safe aircraft operation, coordinate between air-traffic control and maintenance personnel, and oversee airfield maintenance projects. They handle coordination of hazardous cargo movements, process flight plans, and ensure the operational condition of runways and navigational aids. Lastly, they liaise with various agencies regarding flight planning and emergency situations, and ensure proper support for all aircraft, passengers, and crews. This role will function 100% onsite in either in Jordan or Iraq. Documented experience with ICAO procedures. Experience implementing airfield safety procedures; generating and facilitating airfield flight line drivers programs, managing local flight information publications, and validating and publishing NOTAMs. Experience conducting airfield inspections in accordance with AFI 13-204v3 is required. Experience operating IAW AF113-204V1 Ch. 7. Education:Formal electronics training such as: military technical training school, vocational college, and/or four (4) years electronics apprentice program with experience in electronics equipment the technician will maintain. Must be a graduate of an approved DoD/Advanced Airfield Managers course or equivalent. 4-6 years of airfield management experience 4+ years of experience in airfield operations experience of a similar scope and level of responsibility Proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Ability to obtain/maintain a US Secret Clearance.
