Required Skills & Experience
Active DoD secret clearance
Dynamic routing experience
Minimum 5 years of experience configuring, deploying and troubleshooting network LAN and WAN devices
Experience operating in RedHat (RHEL) based environment
Experience with NextGen Firewall (NGWFs) to include Cisco Firepower (FTD), and Palo Alto. This includes understanding firewall policies
Familiarity with High Assurance IP Encryptors (HAIPE®) and Crypto Modernization Compliant encryptors (e.g. TACLANE®-1G (KG-175F) & (KG-175X)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Network Certifications (Network+, CCNA, CCNP, JNCP, etc) or equivalent
Experience in building from the group up of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (Cisco ACI) and Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC)
Job Description
An employer based in Boulder, CO is looking for a Cisco Network Engineer to join their growing Government Services organization. This person will be working closely with a talented team to assist in the design, configuration, testing, implementation and oversight of the computer networks (primarily Cisco) that support our customers mission critical systems. They will be responsible for developing network designs and perform comprehensive analysis by leveraging experience with medium to large WAN networks, and performing system engineering design, integration, and implementation in a development production and operational environment.
This is a small, federal contracting company based in Boulder, CO. This person will be expected to be on site 4-5 days a week with the ability for some remote flexibility. This is a permanent, full time role and is posted at $120,000-$170,000/year based on experience level and technical aptitude.
