Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Secret Project Management Analyst to support a federal client in Suffolk, VA. The Project Management Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-Maintain the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. -Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. -Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. -Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. -Monitor cost and schedules on contracts. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. -Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. -Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled. -Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks. -Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. -Incorporates contractual changes by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines. -Applies basic principles, theories, and concepts. Knowledge of industry practices and standards. -Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform basic professional tasks. -Problem Solving: Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures. 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1-year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
