Loan Secretary IWeatherford, OKPOSITION SUMMARYLoan Secretaries act as a support to multiple loan officers and also assist other loan personnel that produce consumer, construction, commercial, agriculture, commercial real estate and residential real estate loans. Performs various support duties pertinent to meeting the needs of our high profile customers and development of new business through the application and closing process. Extensive contact with customers and the public both in person and on the phone.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assist lending staff with daily responsibilities, including document collection, closing, and telephone/personal interaction with customers and third party vendors to accommodate banking needsCorresponds with applicant to gather required financial information for the loan approval processMaintain open communication with members of the loan department as to the status of the loan and with vendors, and any other required parties, to the loan transactionOrder preliminary title policy, UCC searches, Flood Certificates, environmental reports, and other related dataCoordinates with loan officer regarding issues with the policy, UCC searches, and other credit related reportsReview closing documents prior to loan funding and ensures any pending items are addressedCoordinates with borrower and/or insurance agent for lapsed or expiring insurancesAssists in obtaining updated financial statements, credit reports, rent rolls, and other financial information to maintain the servicing fileProvide payoff information to customers or other organizationsWork Lender's Technical ExceptionsParticipation in various community and public eventsInteract with staff and departments for accurate resolutions to problems and errorsAssist with other job related duties as assignedREQUIREMENTSExcellent customer service skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft OfficeProficient knowledge of BancFirst Loan Policy and Procedures, the Uniform Commercial Code, Business Law, Real Estate Law, and Federal Compliance Regulations, the training for which will be provided by BancFirstAble to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlinesWork well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitudeMust demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor at all timesAble to communicate professionally both verbally and in writingWork well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasksCritical thinking skillsExcellent work ethicMust be flexible and able to work additional hours when crucial to the departmentAttendance and punctuality is an essential function of the jobPREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of loan process and loan documentation is helpful, but not requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSConstant use of computer screensAbility to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hearIntermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouchingAbility to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workdayLong periods of typing and repetitive motionAbility to lift and/or move and carry 10 poundsLOCATIONOnsite positionBancFirst, WeatherfordHOURSFull TimeM-FHometown service, statewide strength.
