The Role: The East Longmeadow Public Schools Student Services Department is seeking applicants for the position of Secretary to the Director of Student Services. This is a permanent, full time, calendar year (as opposed to school year) position. The person in this position will have diversified secretarial duties, including, but not limited to: computer and word processing skills, typing, filing, use of office technology, telephone, proficiency with figures, obtaining data and compiling reports, organizational skills, and the ability to deal with the public and staff in a courteous and effective manner. Discretion and confidentiality at all times is a must. Experience in the following areas is preferred: using student information technology (PowerSchool, Frontline), proficient in word processing and email (Google Suite), accounts payable, maintaining financial records, scheduling transportation, IEP and 504 administration, creating purchase orders (MUNIS) and various other duties in regards to Student Support Services. (37.5 hrs./wk.)
