About the Job Under the direction of the IT Director or their designee, employees in this classification are responsible for data security, disaster recovery, firewall and web security, and change control management of the organization's IT systems. - Requires 4-6 years of related experience OR any combination of education, certification, and experience sufficient to provide the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OR CERTIFICATIONS
- Possession of a valid driver license at the date of hire, and the ability to obtain and maintain a valid Washington State Driver License within 30 days of hire.
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals and Security+ is highly desirable.
- CompTIA CySA+ is highly desirable.
- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate and Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals is highly desirable.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to respond to emergency call-outs, and perform work on weekends and holidays as required.

EXAMINATION STEPS
- The Supplemental Questionnaire is part of the application (weighed 30%). Answers must be detailed and will be blind rated.

- Top-scoring applicants will be called to an oral panel interview (weighted 70%), tentatively scheduled for early November.
