Please visit to see our full list of benefits!ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of Security Supervisors and Managers, incumbent provides basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety of patrons and team members for the outside perimeter of the property. Safeguards the assets of the organization as well as those of its guests and team members. Promotes an outgoing, friendly guest oriented demeanor at all times.Essential Job Functions:* Observes and obeys all street, lot and garage traffic regulations.* Drives company bicycles in designated routes only.* Directs vehicular traffic in self parking garage, employee parking areas, surface parking lots and throughout the property.* Ensures safety and security of vehicles in lots and garages by reporting all suspicious behavior to a Security Supervisor whether these acts were from an employee or a patron.* Always keeps alert for unauthorized attempts to remove vehicles.* Ensures that proper security is provided for all transfers of monies within the casino and hotel areas of the complex.* Responds to incidents, accidents and calls for assistance.* Must provide emergency medical care to the highest degree necessary within allowable limits for the certification held.* Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and company/departmental policies and procedures.* At time may have to control the traffic flow throughout the facility.* Must be able to give accurate and detailed directions to a patron's destination.* Must be able to answer questions regarding hotel services, shows, facilities and directions.* Completes thorough documentation of all medical calls.* Completes all required checklists for inventory and inspections of supplies and equipment.* Notifies a Supervisor of any problems with equipment and/or supplies and makes note of supplies that require replenishing.* Replaces supplies as necessary and reports missing supplies to a Supervisor.* Disinfects and maintains cleanliness of EMS equipment, supplies and treatment rooms as per the requirements of daily assignments.* Assists in the coordination of emergency situations.* Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.* This position requires the ability to operate a bicycle for a full 8 hour shift. ** This position sometimes also works inside the casino as a Security Officer at the same pay rate.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required and a minimum of one (1) year of guest service experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional Requirements:* Must be able to stand, walk, and ride a bicycle for long periods of time, able to climb steps, respond to emergency situations and handle basic duties and responsibilities of the position.* Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and fast paced situations.Work Environment:* Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.* The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.* The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.* Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.Closing:The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans.
