STS Technical Services is hiring a skilled Security Coordinator to support security operations at Embraer's Nashville locations. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining site security, overseeing access control, managing surveillance systems, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to security measures at one of the world's leading aerospace facilities.Position SummaryThe Security Coordinator will play a critical role in protecting personnel, property, and sensitive information. Reporting directly to the Chief Security Officer (CSO) through the Security Specialist, the Security Coordinator will oversee daily security functions, crisis management, and compliance for Embraer's Nashville locations.Primary ResponsibilitiesData Management: Accurately enter, retrieve, and maintain sensitive data in security databases.Administrative Support: Prepare correspondence, manage mail, and support departmental workflow.Access Control & Surveillance: Manage access control and CCTV systems to ensure real-time monitoring and compliance.Visitor Management: Oversee Visitor Management System (VMS) for on-site personnel screening and approval.AOA Access: Act as Authorized Signatory for Airport Operations Area (AOA) access, conducting routine audits and ensuring compliance with airport standards.Security Protocols: Develop and distribute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Post Orders for security staff.Operational Support: Assist in managing contracted security personnel, entry control, and employee updates.Emergency Services Assistance: Provide on-site support during emergency situations.Cost Management: Track and manage security-related invoices.Crisis Management: Support crisis preparation, response, and recovery alongside the CSO.Non-U.S. Employee Visits: Coordinate with Legal and Mobility for non-U.S. employee visits, ensuring security compliance.Access Control Training: Train security personnel in access control protocols at North American sites.Continuity & Crisis Support: Serve as the primary security contact in the absence of the Physical Security Specialist.Qualifications and SkillsEducation: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience in security operations.Experience: Minimum 2 years in security or law enforcement, ideally in a corporate or industrial environment. Aerospace industry experience is a plus.Technical Skills: Proficient in security software (CCTV, access control) and Microsoft Office Suite.Certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) preferred, or willingness to obtain.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization.Analytical Skills: Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, especially in high-stress situations.Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking abilities.Why Join STS Technical Services?STS Technical Services is a top provider of workforce solutions in the aerospace, defense, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.
