About the Role iCapital is looking for a Security Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience. In this role, the candidate will establish and manage/assist in Cloud Security Programs, building new Security Architecture, automations, enforce Application Security Processes and continuously find security gaps across iCapital technology. The ideal candidate would be an independent individual contributor who can do research, design and implement security technologies, and has an ability empathize and connect other teams as a business enabler. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build/Manage Cloud Security Programs for AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure:
    • Operationalize resolution of security misconfigurations.
    • Continuous monitoring and resolution of all the vulnerabilities in cloud environment.
    • Collaboration with DevOps to rethink routine, embrace new best practices, and drive adoption of technology standards.
  • Build automation capabilities to monitor cloud Infrastructure:
    • Monitor/alert infrastructure for AWS infrastructure maintenance.
  • Evolve, Build and continuously testing new cloud infrastructure capabilities for secure designs/functions.
  • Build processes/automation capabilities for Application code security reviews, workflows, and testing in collaboration with Developers.
  • Help SOC in building detection and alert capabilities.
  • Develop workflows for SaaS Security Programs.
  • Information security processes:
    • Assisting Risk/Governance team in policies, procedures, and standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Worked in Cloud Environment (AWS preferred) for 2-3 years to oversee Cloud Security misconfigurations and vulnerabilities.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and Security Engineering to deliver security projects.
  • Commitment to staying at the forefront of cloud security trends, emerging threats, and evolving technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive tasks to completion
Benefits The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
