Northern Light CA Dean HospitalDepartment: SecurityPosition is located: {Location}Work Type: Full TimeHours Per Week: 40.00Work Schedule: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AMSummary:The purpose of this position is to implement facility maintenance/security and housekeeping policies and procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet customer's needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements, while providing the best customer service possible. Also responsible for the overall care and maintenance of the campus grounds as needed.Responsibilities:Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.Assists other departments with patients or visitors as needed for safety precautions.Assists in correcting deficiencies and stopping any unsafe activity that may result in causing personal injury and/or property damage.Performs preventive maintenance as instructed by the Director Facilities to minimize disruption of hospital operations.Responsible for the security of the facility and the patients, employees and visitors.Must adhere to chemical use standards [safety data sheets (SDS)] and practice good safety as part of daily routine per standards and governing body regulations.Must assist in proper care of maintenance equipment and use maintenance supplies/equipment efficiently and effectively.Must actively seek out areas in need of cleaning or repair and care for them in a timely fashion.Completes all housekeeping duties needed within the facility, including but not limited to, floor maintenance, cleaning of all exam room and common areas and other housekeeping duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Practice Director.· Receiving general direction from the Security Director, Supervisor or designee, enforces Hospital regulations, provides a safe and secure environment for Hospital patients, visitors and employees by enforcing Hospital security regulations and by continuously watching for and timely reporting potential safety hazards and unusual occurrences through patrol of assigned areas. Investigates complaints or potential criminal conduct; assists in restraining patients as necessary; provides protective services. Possesses and exhibits extraordinarily strong customer service skills. · Performs all other duties as assigned or requested.
