Job Type Full-timeDescriptionIsleworth, a premier community in Windermere, Florida seeks Security Gate Officers who have the ability through his or her training and experience to anticipate, recognize and reduce a security or crime risk and to take or initiate action to remove or reduce the risk or breach of security within our gates. We offer a competitive benefit package the first of the month after 30 days of employment which includes: Medical, Dental Vision and supplemental insurance benefits, a matching 401K and paid vacation/sick time. We provide lunch and dinner meals . Open shifts are 8 hour shift for 5 days. starting pay is $18/hour.Position Responsibilities: • Inquire verbally and visually of any person requesting access to Isleworth to validate their authorized entry into the Isleworth Community. • Records all visitor entries on the approved form or technological program that occurred during your shift. • Provides traffic enforcement and control of vehicles entering and leaving Isleworth in accordance with the Community traffic regulations • Report and investigate any incident or anomaly that affects the safety and security of persons or property within the Isleworth community. If necessary, write any reports or statements that may be required. • Maintains an accurate and complete log of all gate access and any items placed with your care, such as mail, packages, keys, etc. • Conducts visual and physical surveys of unoccupied residents and construction sites documenting the patrols • Responds to calls for service as requested • Able to conduct physical inspections of Isleworth facilities and buildings and patrol the roadways of Isleworth communityRequirementsMust have a valid Florida Driver's License • Possess a valid Class D Security License or pass required training or other qualifications for licensing within 90 days of hire date • Be able to work scheduled 8 hour shifts while standing • Must be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25 lbs. • Able to operate in a professional manner at all times in high guest, member and resident contact. • Be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and Department of Motor Vehicle • Be able to provide upon job offer a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated if you were in the military • Be able to successfully complete all training required for the position • Be able to operate a radio or telephone equipment, and display professional communication and demeanorAdditional Information: This document does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an at will relationship.
