This position will perform duties as a Security Generalist (SG) and will be responsible for security support of classified and unclassified areas of F-35 squadron hangars as required and/or support F-35 security functions at the Operational Training Center when necessary.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:- Physical security of assigned F35 facilities at MCAS Cherry Point, NC.- Security efforts in support of the program include; integration and sustainment activities, F-35 specific Special Access Program support, and the overall execution of contractual security requirements - Control access to all F-35 facilities, providing escort when required, and assisting in the planning, evaluation and execution of program security operations related to Special Access Program Facilities and Operations IAW current program and regulatory guidance.- Provide assistance to other security team members, as appropriate - Additional duties as required- Position may support 2nd shift operations but mission requirements may require a change with respect to primary shift assignment (i.e. candidate may be required to work a different shift than the one identified in this job requisition.)- The incumbent may be required to work 1st or 2ndshift and a non-standard work schedule to supportmission requirements.#rmshotmiljobsBasic Qualifications1. Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate.3. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).4. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate.4. Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.5. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills.6. Basic knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.Desired skills1. Knowledge of F-35 Program Security requirements.2. Experience working on Special Access Programs.3. Prior experience with GSA containers and document control.4. Experience working in a dynamic Military environment and be able to successfully interact daily with senior ranking USMC commissioned officers and key GOV stakeholders with confidence, poise and professionalism.5. Comfortable making decisions autonomously and successfully operating in a military flying operations environment. Previous experience in military leadership and decision-making roles would be beneficial.6. Familiarization with Defense Information Security System (DISS).7. Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.8. Experience working in SAP arena.9. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.National Pay StatementPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $55,100 - $105,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
