Our secure community begins with our single controlled entrance, manned around the clock. It continues across campus with our own professional roving security staff and EMTs onsite available to respond to emergencies.This a part-time opportunity.Possible shifts include: 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am. The EMT Security Guard responds to apartment alarms/emergencies, assists nursing staff in lifting residents to a safe position, and performs site and perimeter security rounds.Education and/or Experience: High school education; or one year related experience and certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Must be CPR / AED certified.Preferred candidates will have:* Current EMT certification.* Excellent customer services skills, patience, and a knack for meeting a wide range of personal needs.* Clear communication skills with a team-based mentality.* Competency in the operation of wheelchair lifts and lock down procedures.* Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.About Atlantic ShoresOur vision at Atlantic Shores is To be a neighborhood where people want to live and work.
