Part-Time Security Guard to oversee the safety and security of our premises for 4 hours per week. The ideal candidate will ensure a secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling the area, preventing theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. This role requires alertness, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and patrol the premises during assigned shifts, ensuring security protocols are followed.
- Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper security and that they are locked or secure.
- Respond to alarms or disturbances on-site, alerting authorities as needed.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities, unusual occurrences, or safety hazards.
- Provide customer service to visitors or employees, offering assistance when needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Write incident reports for any security breaches or concerns encountered during shifts.
- Assist with emergency procedures, such as evacuations or lockdowns, if necessary.
- Communicate and collaborate with law enforcement, fire services, or emergency personnel as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in security or related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
Schedule:- 4 hours per week, with flexibility for shifts during weekdays.
