YOUR ROLE
The Security Intelligence Operations Center (SIOC) Analyst supports CEVA Security Leadership and other assigned functions. The SIOC Analyst will monitor global events and assess and communicate impact or potential impact to organizational stakeholders.
This role executes the various core functions of the SIOC to include, but not limited to incident recognition and escalation, information analysis, emergency response, product security, supply chain security, and physical security. Daily responsibilities will focus on the monitoring of global events, CCTV and alarm monitoring, internal and external communications, and responding to alerts from a variety of security systems and tools.
The SIOC Analyst I will analyze information using multiple external sources to identify and prevent potential threats or risks affecting company employees, assets, and brand. SIOC Analysts act as partners who work closely with teams across the security organization and the broader business to understand information requirements, deliver timely analysis, and present key insights and updates to internal stakeholders.
The SIOC Analyst II will monitor electronic security capabilities and external information sources to identify potential threats or risks affecting company employees, assets, and brand. A SIOC Analyst II works closely with their senior level SIOC Analyst and Security Manager.
CEVA is currently recruiting SIOC Analysts at various levels. The interview process will assess and determine the most suitable role for each candidate based on their qualifications.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? (Duties will be based on level of role)
- Operate within a 24/7/365 Security Intelligence Operations Center, generating tactical intelligence products aimed at safeguarding CEVA's assets, operations, and personnel from potential risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for CEVA within a continuous 24/7/365 Security Intelligence Operations Center setting.
- Utilize advanced software platforms to oversee CCTV surveillance, access control systems, corporate assets, global incidents, and events, with the objective of promptly identifying and mitigating risks to CEVA.
- Manage travel security monitoring and response coordination for all CEVA NORTAM employees.
- Promptly react to and manage alarms across CEVA locations.
- Deploy and supervise the security guard force to bolster safety and security endeavors.
- Assist in leveraging a mass communication system to alert employees in times of crises, critical incidents, and to potential threats.
- Assist in responding to security-related incidents and address requests for aid from CEVA employees.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across various domains, particularly in emergencies, crises, and critical incidents.
- Assist in executing prescribed procedures, as directed by SIOC leadership, to effectively mitigate risks and threats.
- Collaborate with the CEVA Security Intelligence Officer to produce tactical intelligence reports.
- Aid in the maintenance of records and information related to threat assessment and management.
- Monitor travel systems to assess potential threat to life implications for all client employees.
- Support SIOC Leadership & Management in accomplishing necessary tasks.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Level I SIOC Analyst: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Level II SIOC Analyst: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field such as Emergency Management, Communications, Information Technology, or Political Sciences.
- Effective communication skills, encompassing both verbal and written forms.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in high-stress circumstances.
- Quick adaptability and excellence in dynamic situations.
- Superior communication skills enabling effective interaction at an executive level, both in written and oral forms.
- Proficiency in decision-making, multitasking, and operating under time constraints in high-pressure situations.
- Proven organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to maintain composure when interacting with authorities, executives, clients, and staff, even in urgent and high-pressure scenarios.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Prior military or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Proficiency in current technologies and open-source search methodologies.
- Availability for training events outside standard work hours.
- Flexibility to work 8 to 12-hour shifts covering both daytime and nighttime periods.
- Successful completion of background checks and references in accordance with company standards.
