This is a current longstanding and trusted client who is expanding to a new location and are seeking dedicated, responsible, and professional Security Officers to join our team. As a key part of our security team, you will be responsible for safeguarding our employees, customers, and property while maintaining a safe and secure environment.Job Overview:As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, and visitors at our new location. Your role will involve both proactive and reactive security measures, including monitoring security systems, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as necessary.Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property, both inside and outside, to deter and detect any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Ensure that all security systems (alarms, surveillance cameras, etc.) are functioning properly.
- Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and security incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and document any security-related events.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Provide customer service and assistance to employees and visitors in a friendly, helpful manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- A valid security officer State of NH License (or ability to apply)
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in security-related fields are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Physical fitness to patrol the premises and handle any necessary security activities.
