Job Description:
The Security Officer is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff of Westfields Hospital & Clinic. Security Officers provide a variety of services ranging from routine patrols, emergency response, public assistance, report writing, investigative services and other duties as deemed necessary by the Manager, Security Operations. Essential functions include: Patrol all areas of the hospital (internal and external) and any off-site properties owned and/or operated by Westfields Hospital & Clinic on a daily basis as requested.Respond to the emergency needs of the organization and its occupants when necessary.Respond to routing requests of all departments of Westfields Hospital & Clinic.Report and investigate all incidents.Keep accurate documentation of all events during a scheduled shift.Responsible for quick registration for patients entering the emergency department.
