OverviewCurrently Hiring for Full Time Officers$17.00 p/h Mobile/ Gate$18.00 p/h Rover$19.00 p/h for DispatchMust be available for weekends and holidaysOther Incentives: $100 bonus every quarter for perfect attendance, Officer of the Qtr. will receive $150Ideal candidates will have previous securityofficer, security guard (armed or unarmed) experience, military and/or public safety experience, & exceptional people skills.Candidates should be outgoing and driven with a focus on professional image, attention to detail, taking ownership, & commitment to team success.Duties and job functions include mobile patrol, lobby desk, patrol, control center, access control, emergency response and risk management.Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities:Deter criminal activity and misconductRespond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized persons by calling police, fire departments and/or local emergency response teamsMakes periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized personsPrepare clear, concise, accurate reportsOperate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications and use emailDemonstrate strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearanceDemonstrate experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications and performing in a high-pressure environmentOther duties to be determined by security supervisorQualifications:Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following requirements:6 months of customer service experience1 year of security experience (preferred)Military Experience (Active or Honorably Discharged)Requirements:18 years of ageAlabama Unarmed Security License PreferredHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to pass a criminal background check and drug testTechnology skills: operate access control system, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use emailStrong customer service skills, professional demeanor and appearanceExperience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications while performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demandsFamiliarity with report writingExcellent surveillance and observation skillsPossess above average written and verbal communication skillsPossess strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the publicTrained in CPR and First Aid preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
