Security Officer - Full Time (Tropicana Atlantic City)

Job Duties* Provides security and safety to the hotel/casino, all employees and guests of the hotel/casino complex.* Provides guests with assistance and directions.* Guards all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor as well as the physical transportation of hopper fills, chip fills and credits.* Operates card and dice destruction room.* Monitors property/casino entrances, checks for underage gamblers and coordinates any suspicious activities with security management.* Provides Family Style Service at all times.* May perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent required.* Previous law enforcement or Security experience preferred.* Must have keen observation and reporting skills.* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Must have ability to obtain CPR certification.* Required to perform the customer service standards of the department.* Knowledgeable of the Casino Control Act, as well as company and internal controls, policies and procedures.
