Description Summary:Provides security/safety for guests, team members and property assets and assists in emergency situations.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Patrol and inspect several different assigned areas for irregularities.
- Monitors all activities for unauthorized removal of, or damage to, company property.
- Guards all transfers of moneys and tokens on the casino floor as well as the physical transportation of hopper fills, chip fills and credits.
- Responds to reports of guest or employee injury or illness.
- Preserves the scene of criminal activity for investigators and outside agencies
- Observes and reports incidents to the security dispatcher or supervisor and provides assistance as required in congested areas or as directed by the on-duty security supervisor.
- Assist with all emergency situations.
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
Position Requirements Qualifications
- No prior experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College is a plus
- Military experience (in a security environment) or Law Enforcement a plus
- Computer literate -required when writing reports with Security systems.
- Ability to express self in writing and verbally.
- Ability to respond to complaints and be able to resolve them in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
- Ability to understand the (MICS) Minimum Internal Control Standards of the company.
- Ability to handle complaints with sensitivity
- The primary language spoken and written is English. Must have the ability to read and interpret written Rules and Regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements
- Typically walking, running, stooping of assigned patrol area. Standing and or walking up to a 100% of their shift.
- Occasionally sitting at desk.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in smoky, noisy environment with bright lights.
- Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
- Regularly works in extreme conditions of cold, hot, damp, wet and/or dry environments.
- Vision, hearing, speech and literacy (critical).
- Good vision or have corrective lenses so as to have 20/20 vision
